Paint? Check!
We ended up going with the VOC free Olympia paint from Lowes in Smooth Sailing. Its a very pretty light blue. I can't wait to see what it looks like on the walls! The sample below is close, but not right. Its a little more gray, and a little softer.

Pretty! Definitely buy a little tiny amount of it and try it out in a little patch of the wall. We've done a lot of painting in our past two houses and blue is a tricky color! We did my SS's room in a lighter blue and hated it so we switched it to a darker one.
We "matched" a paint that we have in our house already, so I don't think it'll be too much. its only going on the bottom quarter of the wall, so I don't think it'll get overpowering. Plus, it looks way less neon in person. ;)
lol. can't wait to see pics when it's all done! i'm so jealous that you're already able to buy paint and i have to wait for my bedding to arrive in a month or two!
I can't wait til the chair rail goes up, and the furniture moves in. I think that will make a HUGE difference!
