Movin' On Up!

To a house with a YARD! I cannot tell you how freaking excited I am to have a yard. With a patio table, maybe a pergola and definately a garden! I hope to learn to compost while I'm at it. Somehow, I managed to not take any pictures of the front. But here are some of the key points.

We are hoping to close next week. The house is 2 stories, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.

First Floor Layout (with pending upgrades) All bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room and entry are all linoleum.

Second Floor Layout (with upgrades)

Kitchen. Right now its laminate countertops and linoluem flooring. Down the line we plan to upgrade to granite and travertine. Paint the cabinets white or do a paint/glaze treatment to save the woodgrain, and tint to an espresso color. New chandelier, and window treatments. Possibly a rolling island.

Entry way (view from living room). The closet extends under the stairs. I forsee this being turned into a fort.

There is an open area on the second floor. We could possibly convert it to a fourth bedroom down the line, if we need to.
View from the open area. Door to MBR on the right, Wyatts bath straight ahead.

A LINEN CLOSET! You cannot truly appreciate a linen closet until you live in a house without one!

Master bath (double sinks, praise the Lord!)

Back yard. Currently a jungle. Thank you Arizona raint season. This picture was taken almost a month ago, I can only image how bad its gotten since then. Some perspective for you; the "pool" (which is being removed asap) is five or six feet deep. The weeds are literally more than waist high. We have a project on our hands, for sure!

So, as we do our home decor projects, I will keep you posted! Who knows, there may be a tutorial or two down the line!
