23 Weeks

(The fruit is now updating once per month, so I'm having to find other sources for the weeks in between. I miss the fruit too. But this will just have to suffice!) **Oh, and PS. Why do I look way more pregnant than the picture lady? Also, I just noticed (7/23/09) that I had the 22 week progressive picture up! I updated it now.**

How your baby's growing: Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb.

the picture makes the baby look a lot bigger than a mango. You look bigger becuz you are shorter, this is just another joy(???) of being a short person.

after looking at the picture again, I remember why a pregnant person has to pee all the time, the baby is laying on your bladder and the baby has pushed the stomach up so there is fun heartburn and acid reflux, this is one of the many joys of being pregnant, anyway
