Well, the glider has been conquered! It is similar to the dust ruffle, meaning it's not perfect and could have been done better. But I don't care!! I love the way it works, and I'm so glad that I was able to do this for my little girl.
I started with this glider, and this fabric.
I used
this tutorial, and made very few changes. I did the ottoman a little differently, as mine wasn't removable. I still wanted to be able to take the cover off and wash it, so I made a smaller version of the
crib sheets I made previously. The elastic was the perfect touch.
Again, it isn't perfect, and I cut a lot of corners (literally haha) but it looks good, and is functional! Now we're literally just touch up, and that annoying strip of ugly at the top of the closet.
